Deep in the Santa Cruz hills, cyclists are brought to their knees by a wicked four-mile, 1800-foot climb called Alba Road. This respected climb was the inspiration for the Alba road crank. With beautifully forged aluminum arms combined with the M30 bottom bracket system, the Alba is ready for whatever you’re up against. In addition, the cold forged chainrings feature shifting technology for faster and smoother shifting.

Cold forged chainrings
All of the Praxis Works chainrings are manufactured using a proprietary cold forging process that allows for more complex tooth profile shaping. This so-called “one-shot” process enables the company to increase the amount of shifting aids on the blade, which is hardly possible with normal CNC manufacturing. The process, which uses over 1,000 tons of pressure, enables an extremely hard and tough surface for maximum durability. Individual tooth profiles, alternating tooth angles, synchronized lanes and tactically placed shift ramps are the features that provide smooth shifting. All this creates one of the most durable and smoothest chainrings ever produced for cyclists.
LevaTime II
LevaTime II is the latest generation of shifting technology from Praxis Works. The upgrade to a new, stiffer LT2 5mm ring allows for an increase in the number of shifting functions and the type of shifting functions. It also uses a new, quick-engaging forged shift pin to increase shifting speed. Holding it all together is the reinforced forged LT2 X-Spider, which provides even better support. All this together makes for a very fast and snappy shifter.
Note: The axle tapers from 30 mm to 28 mm. This requires the M30 Praxis Works bottom bracket.
